Some Full Moons reveal what we’ve been trying not to see.
This one may simply make it impossible not to know what we need anymore.
On September 26, 2026, the Full Moon peaks in Aries, opposite the Libra Sun.
That brings a familiar tension into focus:
Me and we.
My needs and your needs.
Independence and partnership.
Keeping the peace and telling the truth.
And the two tarot cards I pulled for guidance are:
The Sun • King of Cups
Together they say:
See it clearly. Feel it fully. Respond from your centre.

The Aries Full Moon — What Do I Need?
Aries is direct.
It initiates, chooses and acts.
Libra considers relationships, fairness and the needs of others.
Neither is wrong.
But this Full Moon may show us where we’ve leaned too far in one direction.
Have I been keeping everyone else comfortable while quietly becoming uncomfortable myself?
Or have I been so focused on what I want that I’ve forgotten someone else is part of the equation?
The question isn’t me or you.
It’s:
How do I honour myself while still meeting others honestly?
The Sun — Let Yourself See It
Our first guiding card is The Sun.
For a Full Moon — a moment of illumination — it couldn’t be more fitting.
Something may simply become clear.
A feeling you’ve minimized.
A desire you’ve talked yourself out of.
A truth you’ve been circling.
Or even something that is going right that you’re finally ready to acknowledge.
The Sun reminds us that clarity doesn’t always arrive dramatically.
Sometimes it’s simply:
Oh. I know.
Ask: What is becoming clearer to me now?
King of Cups — Feel It Without Reacting From It
Aries energy can be immediate:
I feel it, so I need to do something about it.
The King of Cups reminds us that emotional strength can look quieter than that.
You can be angry without attacking.
Disappointed without shutting down.
Excited without rushing.
Certain without demanding an immediate response.
Feel what you feel.
Then give yourself enough space to choose what comes next.
Ask: What changes when I honour the feeling without letting it make the decision?
The Harvest Moon
This Full Moon is also the 2026 Harvest Moon — the Full Moon closest to the September equinox.
Traditionally, the Harvest Moon earned its name because around the autumn equinox the Moon rises only a little later each evening, giving farmers more evening light during harvest season.
And symbolically, that gives us another beautiful question:
What are you harvesting from the choices you’ve already made?
What has grown?
What hasn’t?
And what are you ready to tend differently from here?
Saturn will also appear near the Harvest Moon in the night sky, adding a fitting reminder of responsibility and follow-through.
Want it — but be willing to take responsibility for what you choose.
Who May Feel It Most?
People with important chart placements in the early degrees of Aries, Cancer, Libra and Capricorn may notice this Full Moon more strongly.
But all of us have Aries somewhere in our birth charts.
So the broader question is:
Where do I need to honour myself more honestly?
The Full Moon Message
The Sun: See what is true.
King of Cups: Feel what is true without losing yourself inside it.
This Full Moon doesn’t ask you to become louder.
It doesn’t ask you to choose yourself at everyone else’s expense.
It asks you to become clearer.
Clear about what you feel.
Clear about what you need.
Clear about where compromise is healthy — and where it has quietly become self-abandonment.
You can honour yourself without abandoning compassion for someone else.
Maybe that’s the real Aries–Libra lesson:
How do I remain fully myself while still meeting you honestly?
Return to Yourself
Tarot isn’t about handing your power over to the cards. It’s about creating enough space to hear yourself more clearly.
