Fire Horse 2026 Begins: Solar Eclipse in Aquarius & New Moon Tarot Guidance
Today, February 17, 2026, marks more than a New Moon.
It is a Solar Eclipse in Aquarius, the beginning of the Year of the Fire Horse, and a powerful energetic reset that sets themes for the next six months.
This is not an ordinary lunar cycle.
Solar eclipses act as accelerators.
They close old doors and open new pathways — often before we feel fully ready.
And with Saturn now in Aries beginning a new 2½-year cycle of self-leadership, this New Moon asks us to step forward with both courage and intention.
The Fire Horse does not wait.
But it also does not move blindly.
🌌 The Astrology: A Rare Layered Reset
This New Moon eclipse in Aquarius invites:
• Future-focused thinking
• Breaking outdated patterns
• Reinventing identity
• Moving toward innovation instead of repetition
Aquarius energy is visionary.
It asks: Who are you becoming?
At the same time, Saturn and Neptune in Aries begin blending structure with spiritual intuition — helping us turn dreams into disciplined action.
And because this eclipse influences the next six months, what you choose now matters.
Not dramatically.
Intentionally.
🔮 Tarot Guidance for This New Beginning
For today’s eclipse + Fire Horse activation, the cards I pulled are:
6 of Pentacles – Page of Swords – Knight of Wands
This is a beautiful progression.
⚖️ 6 of Pentacles — Balanced Energy
Before momentum builds, balance must exist.
This card asks:
• Where are you giving too much?
• Where are you withholding?
• Is your energy exchange fair?
The Fire Horse year will amplify action.
The 6 of Pentacles reminds us to enter it from stability, not depletion.
Balance your time.
Balance your generosity.
Balance your expectations.
🌬 Page of Swords — Curious Beginnings
This eclipse in Aquarius aligns perfectly with the Page of Swords.
Curiosity.
Fresh ideas.
Mental awakening.
This is the moment to ask:
What new thought am I ready to explore?
What future version of myself feels exciting?
Aquarius energy supports new vision.
But vision requires courage to speak it aloud — even if it feels new and imperfect.
🔥 Knight of Wands — Inspired Action
Here’s the Fire Horse energy.
The Knight of Wands moves with passion and belief.
Not recklessness — but boldness.
This card says:
You don’t need a full 10-step plan.
You need one brave step.
The Fire Horse year rewards movement.
The Knight of Wands reminds you that confidence often follows action, not the other way around.
🌑 What This New Moon Eclipse Asks of You
Balance your energy.
Allow new ideas to form.
Then move with inspired intention.
This is not a year for small thinking.
But it is a year for aligned thinking.
The Fire Horse runs with purpose.
And today’s Solar Eclipse in Aquarius opens a six-month window of reinvention and forward motion.
You are not behind.
You are at the beginning.
