There are some milestones that feel bigger than you expect them to.
While I was away at the cottage, I did a tarot reading for someone and, almost as an afterthought, decided to show her my new book, Truth Tarot: A Return to Yourself.

I wasn’t trying to sell it. I simply thought she might enjoy seeing what I had created.
She connected with it — and bought my very first copy.
After all the writing, editing, designing, refining and finally holding the finished book in my hands, seeing someone else choose to take a copy home felt incredibly special.
This book was created as more than a guide to tarot card meanings. It is rooted in the Rider-Waite-Smith tradition, but the heart of it is about learning to trust yourself.
Tarot, for me, has always been a tool for clarity, reflection and self-discovery. The cards can help us slow down, notice what we may be avoiding, ask better questions and reconnect with our own inner wisdom.
That is really where the title came from.
Truth Tarot: A Return to Yourself is about learning tarot while also learning to listen more closely to yourself.
What made this first sale especially meaningful was how naturally it happened. It came from a reading, a conversation and a genuine connection — and then, almost unexpectedly, the first copy was out in the world.
That moment reminded me that sometimes the things we create find their people in ways we cannot plan.
I’m so grateful for this first little milestone, and I’m excited to see where the book goes from here.

Sometimes the next step isn’t about becoming someone new.
It’s about returning to yourself.
