A new season begins this week.
On September 22, the Sun enters Libra, marking the Fall Equinox and shifting our attention from Virgo’s focus on fixing and refining toward balance, relationships, fairness and what feels sustainable.
But balance doesn’t always mean having everything perfectly figured out.
Sometimes it means knowing what deserves our confidence, what needs discernment, what we want to nurture — and what we need to protect.
I pulled one tarot card for each day with a simple intention:
What will help us move through this day well?

Our cards are:
Queen of Wands • Seven of Cups • The Empress • Justice • Four of Pentacles
And their message for the week feels clear:
Trust yourself. Choose carefully. Nurture what matters. Come back to what is true. Protect your peace.
Monday — Queen of Wands
Lead With Your Own Energy
Monday begins with Mercury in Libra sextile Jupiter in Leo, while the Moon moves into Aquarius in the afternoon. It’s expansive, future-focused energy that can help us see beyond the immediate details and reconnect with possibility.
The Queen of Wands reminds you not to shrink while you’re deciding what comes next.
Bring your confidence back into the room.
Follow the idea that excites you.
Speak up.
Create.
Take the first step toward something you’ve been thinking about.
You don’t have to know how everything will unfold before trusting yourself enough to begin.
Ask: Where am I ready to show up more fully?
Tuesday — Seven of Cups
Choose What Is Real
Tuesday brings the Fall Equinox and the beginning of Libra season, with the Sun entering Libra at 8:05 PM EDT. Earlier in the day, Jupiter’s tension with Neptune can add some uncertainty or make possibilities look more appealing than they actually are.
Enter the Seven of Cups.
Options are not the problem.
Getting lost in them can be.
You may not need another possibility. You may need to decide which one actually fits your life.
Look beyond what sounds exciting in the moment.
Ask:
Is this real? Is it sustainable? Is it right for me?
And because Tuesday marks such an important seasonal shift, I’ll be sharing a separate Fall Equinox Astrology + Tarot reading tomorrow morning for the season ahead.
Wednesday — The Empress
Nurture Instead of Force
Wednesday’s Mercury–Uranus influence can bring fresh ideas, changed plans and a little mental restlessness. The Aquarius Moon is also void for much of the day before moving into Pisces late at night.
This is where The Empress feels perfect.
Not everything needs to be solved immediately.
Some things need room to grow.
Put your attention toward what nourishes you — your creativity, body, home, relationships, work or something you’re slowly bringing to life.
The Empress understands that growth doesn’t happen because we stare at the seed demanding progress.
We tend to it.
Then we allow it time.
Ask: What deserves more care from me?
Thursday — Justice
Come Back to What Is True
By Thursday, the Moon is in intuitive Pisces and forms a supportive connection with Venus in Scorpio, softening the atmosphere and bringing more emotional awareness into the week.
And our card is Justice.
Just as we enter Libra season.
Beautiful.
Justice asks us to step away from what is easiest, loudest or most emotionally convenient and return to what feels fair, honest and aligned.
What do the facts tell you?
Does the exchange feel balanced?
Are you considering your own needs as carefully as everyone else’s?
Justice isn’t about perfection.
It’s about making choices you can stand behind.
Ask: What feels fair to me too?
Friday — Four of Pentacles
Protect Your Peace — But Don’t Grip Too Tightly
Friday carries the dreamiest energy of the week.
The Moon remains in Pisces, and Friday night the Libra Sun opposes Neptune in Aries. This can heighten imagination, compassion and intuition — but it can also make things feel less clear than usual.
The Four of Pentacles reminds us to stay grounded.
Come back to what you know.
Protect your time.
Protect your resources.
Protect your energy.
But notice the difference between holding something because it supports you and holding it because you’re afraid of what happens if you let go.
You don’t need to force clarity today.
Sometimes the most grounded response is simply:
I don’t know yet.
And letting that be enough.
The Message of the Week
Queen of Wands: Trust yourself.
Seven of Cups: Choose with discernment.
The Empress: Nurture what matters.
Justice: Come back to what is true and fair.
Four of Pentacles: Protect your peace without closing yourself off.
There is something beautiful about this week’s progression.
We begin with confidence.
We move through possibility.
We nurture what feels meaningful.
We find our balance.
And then we decide what is worth protecting.
As we cross the threshold into a new season, maybe balance isn’t about making every part of life equal.
Maybe it’s about becoming more intentional about what gets more of you — and what no longer needs quite so much.
You don’t have to carry everything equally to live a balanced life.
Sometimes balance begins by knowing what matters most.
Return to Yourself
Tarot isn’t about handing your power over to the cards. It’s about creating enough space to hear yourself more clearly.
